The Basics of Pig Production 
This book gives the reader a basic introduction to the management of pigs and provides the reader with all necessary pig production terms. The book is very well illustrated with many pictures and drawings etc.

"The Basics of Pig Production" is a translation of the Danish book called "Svinehold - en grundbog" from 2009. The Danish edition i targeted at students studying to be Danish farmers and others who require to learn about pig production, for example part-time farmers, farm workers and pig producers.

This translated version i targeted at a similar English speaking group who also require knowledge on pig production. A few passages from the original version have been adjusted to suit readers without a Danish background.
